About Melissa Torres
Melissa A. Torres is Registered Nurse, originally from Newburgh, NY, with no formal art education. She began taking an acrylic art class in March of 2011, but has been painting and drawing since childhood. Most of her work so far has been commissioned pieces. She loves to transform a photograph of a person's loved one(s) or pet(s) into a work of art. She enjoys working largely with acrylic, but has done work in water color, pastel, and charcoal, and recently began working with oils. What a nice painting with a heartfelt title. "Who really did, rescued who" ~ I can relate to this so much, since my husband and I, have 3 rescue/shelter dogs.
